East Belfast Senior Camogie has seen fantastic growth since the formation of the club. We facilitate players of all abilities, fielding a senior team, as well as competing in development blitzes and running a social camogie programme over the winter months.
Our senior camogs compete in Down Division 2 league, and the Down Junior Championship. In 2023 East Belfast won the Junior Championship, and went on to represent Down in the Bridie McMenamin Shield at provincial level. Our current squad is made up of members of that championship winning squad, as well as new players, and the team aims to recreate that championship success.
Through the hard work of our management, coaches, volunteers and players, the senior camogs have worked hard to raise standards and drive improvement within the team for those who wish to play competitively. We also aim to provide a space for women to take up a new sport, or return to camogie after a number of years away, and to help athletes of all ability levels improve their skills and fitness within a welcoming and safe environment.
